The Shared Services Facility project within the Genome Campus is located in the grounds of the heritage listed, Hinxton Hall. The building itself is situated in the heart of the complex and as its name suggests, it is a multi-functional building for the campus used by various departments and personnel.
The Shared Services Facility offers seating areas for light lunches and break out areas for the campus. The building is sited on the main thoroughfare and pedestrian crossing close to adjacent buildings used by The Sanger Institute and The European Bioinformatics
Institute (EBI) who also share the facility.
Clive Graham Associates (CGA) are also undertaking works and refurbishment of the Cairns Pavilion restaurant building, which will still be in progress when the works commence at the Shared Services Facility building.
As the Shared Services building has catering facilities, we understand the need to ensure that the Cairns Restaurant is open and operating as usual whilst all these works are carried out to reduce the impact on these works.
