Rail Gourmet, Euston

In 2011 Clive Graham Associates completed the fit out of three industrial units at the Parcel Deck, Euston Station working for track side catering company Rail Gourmet. The three industrial units were constructed by including a cold room, laboratory and training school offices.

CGA were responsible for fitting out and co-ordinating the internal works to the building for Network Rail and Spence. The works included the formation of cold storage areas using Kingspan Cold Room Panels, Aluminium checker plate and Altro flooring. Whiterock was installed in the food preparation areas.

Heavy duty vinyl flooring was installed throughout the catering and storage units with carpet within the office and meeting areas. CGA assisted Spence in the co‐ordination of the M&E services including the creation of cold rooms to – 5 degrees.

CGA also formed the meeting and office areas, including the formation of breakout area, welfare and toilet facilities.

Euston station is one of the busiest in Europe and although the three buildings were constructed above the station on the car park parcel deck the works still presented difficulties with logistics working close to and within a mainline station.
