Clive Graham Associates is committed to maintaining good health and safety practices and the highest standards of responsibility to our employees, our clients and the communities in which we work. We are committed to reducing the impact of our site activities on surrounding areas, and ensuring that all of our on-site staff and supervisors are fully competent and trained in good health and safety practices.

Our contracts manager Chester Smith holds overall responsibility for health and safety practices at CGA, and he is ably supported by our supervisors, staff and contractors. Our health and safety policy is available to download here.

As a company we hold ISO9001, ISO:14001 and ISO18001 certifications but we are also currently integrating into ISO45001 to comply with new industry standards. In order to achieve high quality and standards on all of our projects, throughout all construction phases, we prepare each project strategy by way of our Close Out and Inspection Plan. This document details the necessary information and documentation to successfully deliver quality and bring all projects to successful completion.

Our Health and Safety Team

David Osborne

Health & Safety Manager

He has gained NEBOSH, IOSH and Fire & Construction accreditation and his main role is to audit CGA sites on our ISO site standards, Site Health & Safety to ensure that all CGA’s site run in line with the latest legislation and our own H&S & Environmental policy. David also is our Mental Health first aider for the company, where his aim is to ensure that our team feel well supported and confident that there is someone that they can talk to in confidence. David believes that a happy work force is a productive work force. David is a dedicated professional who prides himself in giving a fresh outlook to Health and safety within the trades, David has had active role within CGA for 5 years. David began his career in central London on a £25m project and progressed on to work with great Anglia working on network Rail projects.
