Private Viewing Gallery
Clive Graham Associates completed the fit out of a private viewing gallery transformed into an adaptable private viewing space with original features that allows clients to consider the artwork in privacy in a more intimate setting.

The room was stripped back to its shell and three existing exits within the room were blocked before installing a floating wall, suspended between the floor and the coving in order to create flexibility when displaying the artwork. The air conditioning units have been installed behind the new suspended walls and new oak flooring has been laid. Original features such as the fireplace and the coving were refurbished, restored and painted. The room has an existing roof light that has been upgraded complete with a new lighting troth and an electric blind. The new lighting offers six settings which can be altered for scene setting and to view the artwork under different light conditions.

Reception Area
As part of a framework for Christie’s King Street we completed works known as “Phase III” which have improved the Payments and Client Registration Area through remodelling the existing reception and gallery space into a new high finished cashiers and “meet and greet” lobby. The reception includes specialist lighting, new cashier counters, meeting rooms, display lobby including wall, ceiling and floor finishes. All of the works were undertaken while the surrounding galleries remained are in occupation.

  • Phase 2 - creating new open plan space with specialist automated racking system and storage units.
  • Phase 3 - creating new secure storage space and storage units.
