Full Overview

We have recently completed a new restaurant fit out project at “Cornus”, located at the top of Grosvenor’s four-floored repurposed warehouse The Ice Factory at Eccleston Yards, Belgravia. The restaurant opened its doors on the 23 July 2024, following a soft launch period.

The rooftop space in Belgravia, is the second restaurant from our clients David O’Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant, Medlar. The regularly changing menu will be centred around British and European seasonal produce, with its roots in the principles of traditional French cuisine.

We worked alongside the interior designer Day Studio, to bring to life their glamorous, mid-century modern aesthetic, complemented by the floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the London skyline.

The restaurant fit out project required new M&E services, HVAC and feature lighting, installation of a commercial kitchen, partitioning, fire compartmentation works and new doors. Time was of the essence for the joinery and luxury porcelain finishes which were all bespoke designed, manufactured and installed to a strict programme.

CGA were appointed in February and were on site for a total of 18 weeks. Our project team worked tirelessly to deliver the project within the set time constraints and to the highest quality, ready for the Cornus team to be able to open for Summer 2024.

Congratulations to our clients on the opening of their new restaurant and well done to our project team for its quality delivery!
