Following successful handover of Burnt Ash Library we commenced our second library project for Bromley in a Conservation Area.
Scope of Works
We completed refurbishment works over the past eight months to modernise and renovate the library and generally make more accessible and inviting to the local community. The Chislehurst project involved the extensive removal and encapsulating of asbestos and full internal strip out. Key elements included the replacement and repair of windows and doors, roofing works, and brick work repairs.
Added Value
Additionally, new ceilings and partitions were installed, along with ungraded M&E systems, toilet facilities and fire alarm services. The project was then completed with new internal decorations and floor finishes throughout and for the grand opening our team were joined by the Mayor, Cllr Jonathan Andrew’s, Leader of the Council, Cllr Colin Smith, Mayoress Theresa Andrews and David Williams.
CGA delivered a complete refresh of the Runwell Sports & Social Club — home to local football, rugby, snooker, archery, and bowls clubs — including a new roof, external cladding, M&E upgrades, full interior refurbishment, and new landscaping, keeping the project within budget through smart value engineering.
CGA revamped The Goldsmiths Centre reception in Farringdon, London, enhancing security and aesthetics with a new integrated reception desk, security upgrade and custom signage, ensuring minimal disruption during busy times with exhibitions.
CGA completed a £1m, 18-week rooftop restaurant fit-out at Cornus, Belgravia, delivering a stunning mid-century modern design with bespoke finishes and state-of-the-art facilities.
