Clive Graham Associates completed a very sensitive project for BAE Systems’ Detica business in Arundel Street. Due to the nature of the clients business the project was of high security and the project required high standards of professional discipline and sensitivity from the team and supply chain.

The project involved stripping out of partitions, ceilings and service items. This included the strip out of finishes including glass. All works took place adjacent to occupied areas of the offices including meeting rooms that were still in use, meaning all works had to be carefully planned and the site team had to be considerate of the client’s requirements to keep their business operating around the works.

We installed new services including specialist secure data networks and AV and finishes were completed to a high Cat B Standard in meeting room facilities, open office facilities, and secure project offices. The partition walls and doors included SEAT 4 doors and secure walls.

The client’s requirements were challenging and still evolving at the beginning of the project which required necessary changes and solutions to resolve risk to programme and cost. The client introduced a late variation for a communications room fit out including in row A/C units between the cabinets which needed to be designed and installed as soon as possible which added a bit of a challenge to the project.
