We were engaged to carry out a vital fire safety upgrade, which involved the replacement of a significant number of existing doors with certified fire-rated doors. In addition to these replacements, our team refurbished several existing doors and frames to bring them up to current fire safety standards.
Scope of works
As part of the scope, we also replaced glazed fan lights to improve both safety and compliance, while maintaining the building’s aesthetic integrity. A key component of the project included the safe and controlled removal of asbestos-containing materials, ensuring a secure environment for all future occupants.
This project required careful planning and coordination to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, all while adhering to strict health and safety regulations. Our team delivered the works efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption and full compliance with fire safety legislation.
We also carried out the refurbishment of both staff and pupil wc’s over a 5 week programme with a value of £250k
