We were appointed to carry out a significant fire safety upgrade at Holland Park School, focusing on the replacement and enhancement of door infrastructure across the site.
The scope of works involved the full strip-out and removal of existing doors, followed by the installation of 39 new fire-rated doors strategically positioned across three main staircases. These upgrades were essential to improving the school’s fire compartmentation and ensuring compliance with current safety regulations.
In addition to the door replacements, our team undertook access control adjustments to integrate the new doors seamlessly into the school’s existing security systems. This ensured that all newly installed doors were not only fire-compliant but also fully functional within the school’s operational framework.
To complete the works to a high standard, we also carried out decorations to all affected areas, restoring finishes around the new installations and ensuring a clean, professional appearance throughout. The project was delivered efficiently, with careful coordination to minimize disruption to the school environment and maintain safety at all times.
